Welcome to the Funding Exchange's website. Founded in 1979, the Funding Exchange is a national network of 15 publicly supported, regionally based community foundations and a national office, which altogether grant nearly $15 million annually to thousands of social change grassroots organizations.
We are pleased to offer resources to help your clients choose the best options available to maximize their charitable giving in support of social change philanthropy. For years, mainstream community foundations have grown exponentially as a result of developing successful relationships with financial and other professional advisors, including: investment advisors, financial planners, money managers, trust and estate attorneys, tax attorneys, philanthropic advisors and insurance agents.
Most community foundations report that a referral from a professional advisor plays a role in 50% to 75% of new donor dollars. These referrals can amount to millions per year for each foundation. We hope you will consider referring your clients to our foundation in support of social change. Your help will make a huge difference.
